Here's how I make money with my website-

1. Pay per Click ads - I have Google ads on my website and they provide me with about $100 a month. A small amount is added to my account every time someone clicks on the ads by Google that I have placed on my website. This is called pay-per-click advertising. For people wanting more choice there are other pay per click ad companies like AdBrite, Goclick etc.

2. Affiliate Ads - I am an affiliate of several companies and either help in selling their products through my website by providing links to visitors or get registrations to their websites through links on my site. With some companies I earn commisions through sale, some provide commissions for completed registration and some provide commissions when people who have registered through links on my site make payments.

3. Selling - One option which is very popular with other webmasters is selling directly through their websites. They list goods on their site instead of providing links to to other sites and earn a percentage on sales. This is called drop-shipping. Drop-shipping is extremely popular because it provides a viable long-term business with almost no investment. There is no need to stock products as the orders secured are passed on to the manufacturers who take care of shipping, warranty etc.
